HM Beauty is a professional makeup artist that creates simplistic and minimal looks that allows their client’s natural beauty to shine. They strive to create a safe space where their clients feel beautiful in their own skin.
Brief
The original logo didn't capture the client's demographic and skewed toward a younger audience. They wanted the new branding to be fun, elegant and feminine while being approachable. I was tasked with creating a brand strategy, logo, social media templates and website to bring the client's dream to life.
SOLUTION
I created a logo that tied the H and M letters together to create a sense of movement and elegance. The thin serif font was used to give a classy, yet warm look.
The colour palette used is a bit moody with a vintage flair. It creates an elegance to the brand with a modern touch using neutral colours.
I wanted to add a hand-drawn element to the design that gave it a more personal touch. The flowers tie the client into the wedding industry while feeling feminine and delicate.
